About the role:

As a Computer Tech you will assist in the setup, configuration, troubleshooting, analysis, and repairing of computer systems, computer peripherals, and telephones and respond to service desk tickets as assigned.   You will maintain reference material and reports observing established procedures or as directed.

You will report to the Manager - Software Systems Technology.

You will be located in Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help repair software and hardware problems including security incident response.
• Support the installation and testing of computer equipment, changes to PC, install moves and requests related to telephone and audio equipment.  
• Maintain knowledge of hardware, software and maintenance changes affecting operations, and support system performance checks and active directory.
• Manage software libraries by processing, storing, and distributing proprietary software and documentation.  
• Ensure the accuracy of software release records and perform necessary file transfers to and from repositories. 
• Create multiple data bases.  Create detailed work instructions.
• Help maintain the local IT asset inventory and stockroom

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or equivalent plus associate's degree or 60 college credits in a curriculum related to Information Systems principles, or computer science. 
• No amount of experience will be permitted to substitute for the required education.  
• 1+ year experience in a similar field
