Customer Solutions Engineer, Reactor I&C

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Serve as Product Solution Engineer and Project Manager driving business development and growth opportunities for the Reactor I&C portfolio.
  • Collaborate with Account Teams, Engineering organization and Commercial Integration to capture and deliver products and services to customers.
  • Develop competitor intelligence and develop solutions to beat the competition.
  • Lead proposal development for products within the Reactor I&C portfolio, including complex negotiations, organize input from multi-disciplinary groups and supporting customer needs to obtain contracts which contribute to profit margin and revenue.
  • Analyze contract requirements and develop project specific deliverables to enable successful program implementation and to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze needs and develop unique customer solutions to address customers competitiveness and long term viability.
  • Identify unmet customer needs through appropriate market channels especially direct customer interaction.
  • Support all aspects of planning process including drafting project plans and developing scope, schedule and cost baselines.
  • Manage all aspects of project opportunities including scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement planning, quality, resource planning, and communications.
  • Maintain project databases, systems and procedures to ensure efficient handling and communication between project team members.
  • Identify, assess, and implement improvement opportunities that will add value.

 

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Business or related field.

Either (a) 5 years of experience in an industry technical role or (b) 2-3 years of experience in an industry technical role and 2-3 years of project management experience.

Technical Leader Level 2 desired.

  • Demonstrate ability to formulate customer-oriented solutions
  • Demonstrated skills in estimating, planning and communication in support of offer development.
  • Demonstrated ability or understanding of the transformation of data to information for visual reports; the interaction of company functions that are touch points to projects (Finance, Legal, Quality, Supply Chain, etc.). High-quality presentation skills.
  • Strong communication and collabortive skills to foster alignments between internal and external customers.
  • Travel to customer sites (up to 10% travel)
