Data Engineer Intern Summer 2025

About the role:

As a data engineer intern you will work under guidance, as a team member within cross-functional teams applying data pipeline technology, statistical analysis, and optimization to digital solutions that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve decision-making.  

You will report to the data engineer and be located at our Cranberry location. This position is hybrid with 3 days onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the entire data science project cycle, including brainstorming, requirements gathering, prototyping, development, deployment, and maintenance. 
• Bring a fail-fast and experimental mindset to problems using innovative and latest technologies to create proof of concept products.
• Under guidance of a data engineer, recommend solutions to problems using AI or other data-driven solutions and help estimate execution.
• Communicate and explain their technical work to project mentors and direct management. 
• Support advanced analytics solutions across broad application areas. 

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in computer science or another analytics field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Complete Sophomore year of college by May 2025
