About the role:

As a Deputy Director, APx WBS, you will assist the WBS Director on the APx procurement management, especially in reporting on program performance and oversight of their projects. You will help manage the supplier strategy of all 13 Delivery Stream Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) procurement scopes, management of multiple project needs and deliveries from pre-PO to delivery at site for all opportunities related to APx, and other products within the Energy Systems Portfolio. You will partner across Westinghouse to develop a multi-project strategy to deliver equipment for multiple projects in parallel and working with the Project Teams.

You will report to the WBS Director and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. Hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Help implement the APx procurement management model according to global execution frameworks.

• Help implement procurement delivery from pre-PO placement to site delivery.

• Supervise and mentor WBS Leaders/Managers across multiple countries.

• Ensure staffing of the Procurement WBS Team with talent.

• Facilitate seamless integration of suppliers with Westinghouse processes.

• Support GSCS functions including SPE, Operations, Fab Follow Engineering, and Supplier Quality.

• Help track the WBS budget and cost-saving goals within the Delivery Stream.

• Help the WBS Director on the reporting of procurement manufacturing progress to the main partners, through the PRM process.

• Communicate manufacturing and delivery issues promptly to the APx Project Management team.

• Collaborate with Country Project Management Leaders

• Ensure adherence to Division of Responsibility (DoR) as defined in APP-GW-GAP-426 and APP-GW-GAP-462.

• Support risk identification and mitigation strategies to meet safety, quality, and financial goals.

• Ensure training and mentorship of new hires and team members involved in customer projects is implemented by Procurement Management Leadership.

• Be a trusted partner to APx leadership and partners.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering

• 5+ years of large and complex EPC project management experience including contract administration.

• International Sourcing and knowledge of supplier base for the nuclear sector.

• Travel from 10 to 20%

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $144,000 to $180,000 per year.
