Digital and AI Strategy Engineer

About the role:

As a Digital and AI Strategy Engineer you will support Information Management System (IMS) and AI Enablement projects across New Plant opportunities. You will engage with engineering and AI & Innovation teams. You will establish minimum IMS requirements, integrate AI capabilities into existing processes, enhance digital tools, and lead efficiency across all facets of our APX projects.

You will report to the Digital and Product Strategy Manager and work a mobile/hybrid role located in Cranberry, PA, Rock Hill, SC or Colombia, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

The APX Fleet Product Strategy organizational mission is to help deliver a fleet of AP1000 projects by providing strategies, frameworks, processes and resources in:

• Design authority and execution
• Technical product management
• Digital transformation and advanced information management systems

• Review and disposition intake of potential AI use cases across the APX organization
• Map out existing processes with teams to move towards a vision for AI enablement
• Facilitate cross-discipline coordination with APX and AI & Innovation on latest technologies, and application of those technologies within APX.
• Develop and support Information Management strategies at fleet and project level
• Provide direction and guidance to team members on implementation of digital solutions and AI Technologies
• Develop adoption projects within the APX organization on application of digital tools and AI technologies

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or other engineering discipline
• Programming experience is
• Familiarity with APX design and technology, and digital platforms (i.e. WNEXUS) and data management
• Establish networks across multiple areas, and guide and motivate teams to accomplish a shared vision
• Apply project management skills of project milestones and main projects.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $69,200 to $86,500 per year.
