As the Director, HRIS and Payroll Transformation you will improve Westinghouse's payroll and human resources information systems. This includes supporting the implementation of projects, modernizing payroll and HRIS systems, aiming to improve processes, data accuracy, and to ensure compliance by analyzing current systems, identifying pain points, designing new workflows, and overseeing the transition to a modernized platform across the organization.

You will report to the Senior Director, Global HR Systems, Payroll and Services and be located in Cranberry Township, PA at our Global Headquarters. You will be hybrid, with 2 days in the office and 3 days remote.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Payroll Transformation: Lead the assessment, design and implementation of payroll systems and process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency and compliance. Identify automation opportunities to reduce manual processes and errors. Ensure payroll systems meet local, state and federal regulatory requirements. Collaborate with external vendors and team members to transition payroll to a new system or enhance current systems.

  • HRIS Implementation & Optimization: Support the transformation of HRIS solutions to support workforce management, payroll and repotting. Partner with HRIS manager and team to develop HRIS governance processes, documentation, and training.

  • Change Management: Serve as the primary driver of organizational change programs related to payroll and HRIS. Develop communication plans and training materials to ensure adoption of new processes. Be a trusted advisor to senior leadership, ensuring agreement on transformation goals.

  • Project Management: Lead transformation projects with clear deliverables. Manage project budgets, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Ensure regular reporting and communication to leadership on progress and outcomes.

  • Analytics: Promote data-driven decision-making by implementing improved reporting payroll tools and analytics capabilities. Partner with HR Data & Analytics manager to develop dashboards for leadership that measure payroll performance, compliance, and workforce trends.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technology, business, Human Resources or equivalent

  • 10+ years of experience leading an HR Operational team for a global organization

  • Global Payroll Experience throughout the Americas and EMEA regions

  • Experience with large-scale HR Systems Implementation and Operational Excellence programs

  • Experience leading and developing teams
