We are actively seeking a Director, Growth and Taiwan Account Management to join our Asian Market Growth & Partnership team!  As the growth leader, hands-on manage strategic initiatives and OE pipeline in Asia Markets through Wave management, workshops with internal stakeholders across Westinghouse organizations, planning and executing strategic initiatives with internal and external stakeholders and resources.   Additionally, as the customer account manager for Taiwan, develop, nurture, and enhance customer relationships to meet and exceed the targets of orders entered and ensure customer satisfaction from business development through project closeout.


The preferred working location for the candidate will be based in the United States or Asia. This position can be a Remote working arrangement.


Your Day to Day:

Growth and Strategic Initiatives : (50-70% of time)

  • Manage Asia Markets OE pipeline to ensure targets are met. Organize workshops and challenge both account teams and PdMs to generate new growth ideas/initiatives.
  • Develop and nurture strategic initiatives that effectively improve Westinghouse’s market position in Asia. Provide recommendations to improve market access and/or delivery certainty.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop go-to market strategy for new products/services; develop market penetration strategy to compete in mature markets; and identify/develop/strengthen partnerships;
  • Effectively interface with all other Westinghouse organizations to ensure strategy alignment within Westinghouse. Timely manage the needs and expectations of the internal stakeholders, and win their supports to ensure positive outcomes.
  • Develop business case, including market/opportunity assessment and present and communicate to project sponsors.
  • Defines initiative scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in accordance with strategic plan and ensure all requirements are met in a timely, controlled and quality manner.
  • Develops and delivers progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations; liaise with executive sponsors and key stakeholders on an ongoing basis
  • Identifies and resolves issues and conflicts with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively manages changes, identify potential crises and devises contingency plans
  • Instills a continuous improvement mindset to drive continued growth and expansion in all relevant sales& marketing activities
  • Builds strong relationships with internal functional expertise and external customers to leverage resources supporting strategic projects as well as business objectives


Taiwan Account Management: (30-50% of time)

  • Identify and pursue business development opportunities for Taiwan accounts
  • Operate as the point of contact for both Westinghouse and Tai--power for all Taiwan business
  • Lead business development, opportunity pursuit activities for all Taiwan business
  • Engage in direct communication with Taiwan customers and Westinghouse stakeholders, and facilitate the communication between the groups, as needed, to support the pursuit of new business, as well as support ongoing projects
  • Ownership and maintenance of all D365 and WAVE information regarding Taiwan business
  • Oversee Taiwan invoicing and ensure prompt payment of receivables.
  • Engage with Legal & Contracts as needed to support business development activities
  • Liaise with Trade Compliance regarding export control matters and report on activities as required
  • Represent and report on Taiwan related business to Westinghouse leadership
  • Manage and oversee Taiwan intermediary engagement to support Westinghouse business. Includes directing intermediary activities to best support Westinghouse interests, maintaining agreements in compliance with Westinghouse governance and procedures, and ensuring intermediaries are compensated in accordance with agreements and protocol
  • Travel to Taiwan, as prudent, to support above activities
  • Provide support for above activities that are associated with other Asia Region business


Who You Are: 

  • B.S. in Engineering and M.S. in Business Management or relevant major 
  • 10+ years’ experience relevant Partnership OR Account Management experience required 
    • 5+ similar relevant Nuclear experience preferred
  • In-depth knowledge and/or work experience in the nuclear industry in Asia.
  • Proven strong track record in sales and customer management experiences in Asia
  • Able to thrive in matrix organization, coordinating with internal stakeholders from all levels to deliver results.
  • Strategic thinker and results oriented 
  • Self-starter, agile, demonstrated flexibility and strong ability to manage crisis
  • Willing to work across different time zones
  • Appreciate Chinese culture, proficient in Mandarin is preferred
  • ~25% Travel Associated with this opportunity
