Engineering Manager - New Plant Construction Integration and Installation

About the role:

As a Manage of Construction Integration and Installation you will define and execute the approaches and strategies for the successful integration of Westinghouse engineering and installation organizations with our various construction partners for the delivery of AP technology.

You will report to the Senior Director of Advance Passive Power Plants Product strategy and be located at any WEC locations in North America or EMEA. The position is hybrid; you will be onsite 2 days per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• In collaboration with the project engineering organizations, define and document standard processes for integration with constructor in Level 3 procedures or guidelines as appropriate (document transfer, training plans, RFI process and repository)
• Define and maintain standard construction integration & installation strategy (scopes, resource plan, resource development strategic actions) in support to the delivery models defined by the commercial and product strategy teams
• Define and maintain a standard plan for constructor interface
• Define risks and mitigations strategies related to the successful integration of Westinghouse engineering and installation delivery and construction partner delivery for an EPC
• Define and execute the WCON implementation plan (including data population in related digital tools)
• Define and execute the smart work packaging implementation plans
• Maintain the relevant sections of the delivery playbook (for construction integration and installation related topics)
• Inform APx  Fleet DesignManager for the refinement of the standard Division of Responsibilities (DoR)
• Inform APx Fleet Engineering Schedule Manager for the scope definition in construction integration and installation support.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Required
• 8+ years of relevant experience; at least 3 years in a leadership role in engineering or construction environment

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400 to $163,000  per year.
