About the role:

As a Specialist for APX Estimating you will support APX Fleet Delivery by leading the development of high-quality, compliant project cost and pricing estimates for proposals and contracts. You will oversee major elements of the estimate, support consolidation of detailed Basis of Estimate (BOE) documentation, and ensure understanding across technical, schedule, risk and financial inputs.

 

You will contribute to standardization and continuous improvement within the APX Project & Portfolio Planning organization. You will report to the Manager, APX Cost Estimating, and work in the US Cranberry Woods offices and work in a hybrid capacity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate cost and price estimating for assigned projects from Feasibility Studies through FEED and EPC.
  • Contribute to estimate integration, review preparation, and turnover packages under the direction coordinating team members.
  • Recommend costing estimating requirements and pricing strategy by interpreting solicitations. Coordinate questions with cross -functional input teams (including technical, project management, finance, commercial , PMs , and finance representatives )
  • Develop and validate cost and price models for RFPs, proposals, and task orders. Build cost-model components and draft Cost and Price Basis of Estimates (BOEs) sections using approved tools, assumptions, and source data.
  • Analyze and reconcile assigned scope, resource, risk, and schedule inputs for assigned projects . Develop entry level knowledge basis of the APx products and commercialization strategy to lead consistency between technical and cost content.
  • Apply standard processes, maintain review-ready documentation, and recommend practical improvements based on project experience.
  • Contribute examples, lessons learned, and peer support to strengthen team estimating practices.
  • Analyze assigned data, identify variances and trends, and summarize findings for estimate reviews.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, construction management, engineering, project management, finance, or related discipline. We may consider equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • 0 or more years of experience in cost and price estimating, project controls, finance, engineering, construction, or related project support work.
  • Support teams, validate information, document assumptions, and complete varied assignments.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
