Westinghouse’s Human Resources is hiring an individual for the Career Catalyst Program, a program designed to rapidly expose potential leaders to various business units with growing responsibility. The successful candidate will rotate through various business areas at Westinghouse, such as Long-Term Operations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Total Rewards.

 

Interested candidates should be eager to learn, think outside the box and be passionate about the Westinghouse Mission and its business functions while developing themselves as well. The intent of the Career Catalyst Program is to support our growing business, develop leadership skills, display aspects of being a corporate steward and identify future career interests. We have 1 opportunity for the next cohort.

 

This role is located in Cranberry, PA.  No relocation or sposonship is available.

 

Your Day to Day:

 

  • Through a series of rotations, lead project work to strategically deliver value across multiple departments and/or global locations through planning, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork while gaining hands-on experience and developing a deep understanding of different functional areas within the organization
  • 2 year rotational experience provides a unique experience by working in roles designed to provide experiential learning
  • Three 8-month rotational assignments across different Human Resources functions that are impactful experiences with high levels of responsibility
  • Work on meaningful projects across various HR disciplines that align with your interests and aspirations
  • Identify areas of improvement and utilize problem-solving and data analysis skills to propose effective solutions to enhance the overall efficiency of each rotational department
  • Focused development on leadership skills like communication, decision making, conflict resolution and change management
  • Equips strategic decision-making for future leadership roles
  • Exposure to broader business strategies and how can align with organizational goals
  • Benefit from mentorship who will guide you, inspire you, and support you throughout your rotations

 

Who You Are:

 

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in a business or HR discipline. New grads encouraged to apply.
  • Candidate should be willing to relocate based on business needs
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to learn and develop
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while balancing multiple priorities
  • Flexibility to relocate based on the specific job rotations
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
