Health Physics/Radiation Protection Intern Summer 2026

About the role:

As a Health Physics/Radiation Protection intern, you will ensure a radiologically and industrially safe working environment for our employees.

You will report to the Corporate EHS Senior Director and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid, full-time remote summer position.

Key Responsibilities:

• You will perform Health Physics/Radiation Safety audits at our radioactive materials (RAM) sites
• You will identify improvements in Corporate Radiological Protection procedures and guides
• Projects using software packages such as CAP-88, NRCDose, etc.
• Program improvements at our RAM sites

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in health physics required
• Experience with radiological regulatory requirements
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Complete sophomore year of college
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $30.00 per hour.
