Global Supply Chain Systems Training Specialist
Summary
Under the supervision of the Manager, Systems/Tools and Process, the Supply Chain System Training Specialist primary purpose is to train WEC employees in business systems and computer applications, and other related areas.
Your Day to Day:
- Create a friendly and supportive environment that encourages participation and dialogue.
- Translate technical training information into easy-to-understand language.
- Review and update training materials in partnership with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Act as a community expert & trainer for Procurement processes and their execution in SAP
- Engage with learners to ensure content and concepts are understood.
- Use a variety of delivery methods, including presentations, discussions, and simulations.
- Ability to coordinate and lead virtual training sessions.
- Develop Train the Trainer sessions to help site personnel train their teams.
- Work with Sourcing Managers to support onboarding of new team members.
- Assist in various training activities and provide advice and guidance to the business where required.
- Coordinate across the organization to understand systems training needs and implement needed training.
- Collaborate with site teams to understand gaps and develop action plans.
- Maintain master lists for and the development of work instructions and training sessions.
- Provide regular updates on training, resource creation, and next steps.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and actively work to improve the organization.
- Forecast & planning: on time data collection, data analyses with architects and publication, (EUV) training planning & communication to all stakeholders.
Required to be successful in the role:
- Bachelor’s degree.
- 5+ years of related supply chain experience with an understanding of MRP/ERP concepts and processes, SAP preferred.
- 5+ years of experience developing and implementing business systems training (e.g., SAP) preferred.
- Experience analyzing business needs to design training and non-training solutions (e.g., job aids, videos, etc.) to familiarize and train staff.
- Must have the ability to teach and convey technical information in a manner that promotes learning.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Proficiency working in learning management systems, learning content management systems, and proficiency with e-learning development software.
- Ability to learn and use industry specific computer programs.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing, including excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and effectively across teams.
