Your Day-to-Day:
Engineer will be responsible for performing design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors, in particular for Loss of Coolant Accidents (LOCA Engineer).

Additional Responsibilities:

• Development and assessment of models and correlations for prediction of two-phase flow and heat transfer phenomena
• Use of statistical techniques for performing realistic nuclear reactor safety analysis and/or development of analysis methodologies for design basis accidents
• Cognizance of plant specific licensing basis, Analysis of Record, 50.46 reporting
• Point of contact for plant-specific LOCA specific inquiries from both internal and external customers
• Evaluate impacts of plant modifications and operating changes on design analysis
• Participate on project teams
• Communicate to responsible project manager nature and status of work projects

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical, Nuclear or Chemical); Please note, other engineering displines will Not be considered for this position. 
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Ability to apply fundamental engineering principles
• Concise and effective written and verbal skills
• Ability to independently establish and implement personal goals and action plans
• Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate a variety of issues:  project status, problem resolution, engineering recommendations, etc.
• Interest in software programming and code development, while not required, is considered a benefit
