About the role:

As a Lead Engineer for Competency Development, you will be the Technical Leader for Global Engineering Competency growth scope. You will contribute to technology development and improvements of the Knowledge Management for Westinghouse. The Lead will support technical work associated with the lead's technical capabilities and technical development of the GCM. You will be a full-time direct employee of Westinghouse.

You will report to the Director of Competency Development & Nuclear Operations. You will work hybrid requiring 2 days per week on-site at Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead innovation and internally funded activities related to Competency

  • Prepare Global Competency Model

  • Present Global Competency Model to internal and external Global Engineering Services (GES) organizations

  • Coordinate Discipline Technical Leader (DTL) and conduct monthly call with support

  • Provide leadership

  • Lead the implementation of GCM TeamTrac / WNEXUS implementation activities

  • Provide input and support to technical leadership team with the implementation of new activities

  • Lead the preparation of proposals for the GCM (work package definition, coordination of technical descriptions, scheduling, hour and cost estimation of efforts on new projects)

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of engineering leadership

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering

  • Technology development and improvements

  • Knowledge Management and Global Engineering Competency

  • Customer interaction and presentations
