About the role:

As a Lead Finance Planning & Analysis Analyst, APX, you will be finance partner for a US AP1000 new plant build project. You will lead monthly financial closing activities, forecasting, analyses, budgeting, and financial reporting. You will also prepare external forecast and cost reporting deliverables. We have two Lead Financial Analyst openings. You will report to the Finance Manager or Senior Finance Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters and work hybrid. Hybrid Work Schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of monthly reports, analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial results, analysis of variances and business trends to support the financial performance of the project.

  • Ensure appropriate revenue and margin recognition for the project (long-term project accounting) and interface with Corporate Accounting team on technical accounting issues.

  • Preparation and delivery of the annual business plan.

  • Partner with Project Management, Project Controls, Supply Chain, and other partners to support external forecast and cost reporting deliverables.

  • Advise project leadership on risks, opportunities, and corrective actions

  • Mentor other analysts

  • Collaborate with other members of the business finance team to ensure consistency in processes and assumptions.

  • Guide continued enhancements in financial planning and analysis.

  • Lead responsibility for ensuring that SAP, BPC and other financial systems reflect project financial performance and status.

  • Coordinate the development of detailed budgets and the calculation of man-hour labor rates for the project staff.

  • Recommend and prepare accounting entries supporting accurate reporting and analysis of income statement and balance sheet accounts

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Accounting or Finance degree preferred.

  • 5+ years of progressive finance, accounting, project finance, or FP&A experience

  • Knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, internal control procedures, financial concepts

  • Experience with financial planning and analysis for Income Statement and Balance sheet

  • Experience in SAP, BPC, Business Warehouse preferred

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $90,000 to $112,500 per year.
