About the role:

As a Lead Risk Analyst, you will be a strategic advisor within the risk management function for Westinghouse's new nuclear plants, using experience to influence project outcomes and organizational risk culture. You show a track record in navigating high-stakes project environments, identifying new risks, and developing mitigation strategies that align with our goals.

You will report to the Director of New Planet Risk Management and work in a remote capacity.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement project risk reviews with subject matter experts at the project level to ensure identification of main risks. These reviews should lead to the development of risk registers with comprehensive mitigations.
  • Screen top risks with commercial, project and operations leadership and identify risks to be addressed. Present risk analysis findings using data-driven insights and scenario planning techniques.
  • Be a subject matter expert for risk management platforms and tools and improve adoption of digital risk solutions across the team.
  • Communicate and ensure compliance with risk processes.
  • Develop and deliver executive-level risk reports, facilitate risk workshops, and contribute to strategic risk discussions at the business unit level.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Risk Management, or related field; relevant master's or MBA. Advanced certifications such as CRM, PMP, or Six Sigma.
  • 7 + years of experience in project delivery, risk management, or facilitation, including experience leading risk programs for large-scale projects.
  • Demonstrated expertise in quantitative and qualitative risk assessment methodologies.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. We estimate the base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon qualifications, to be $103,200 to $129,000 per year.
