About the role:

 

As a Scheduling Lead you will be an experienced scheduler with expertise in using P6 Primavera and other scheduling software. You will manage working processes to lead excellence and standardization in project scheduling across Large Capital Programs, conduct audit, challenge schedule reviews and mentoring for schedulers working on the major programs.

Individuals in this role will have a broad scheduling background in EPC, nuclear, engineering, manufacturing, or construction industry and an understanding of the different project scheduling methodologies and best practices.

You will report to the Director of Capital Project Controls. This is a fully remote role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Use industry knowledge and best practices to improve scheduling processes and enhance project efficiency and standardization.
  • Support efforts to develop and implement plans for improvement of business processes with other departments.
  • Train and mentor junior team members on schedule management policies, procedures, tools (Primavera P6 and other scheduling software's), techniques, and best practices.
  • Support the program schedulers to maintain project schedules using P6 Primavera software, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project timelines.
  • Collaborate with project managers, program schedulers and team members to create comprehensive and realistic project schedules that align with project goals and company standards.
  • Support and guide program schedulers in monitoring and analyzing project progress, planning, identifying potential risks and opportunities for schedule optimization.
  • Provide regular updates and report on project schedules to partners, highlighting any deviations from the company standards proposed corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with program teams to resolve complex scheduling conflicts or to perform deep dives.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, science or related field. A combination of technical education and experience will be considered.
  • 10+ Years of proven experience working as a scheduler using Oracle Primavera P6 in the nuclear, engineering, Oil & Gas, petrochemical, or construction industry.
  • Experience performing or leading project scheduling and project controls for mid to large nuclear/ engineering/construction projects, or portfolios. At least five (5) years are on complex (>$100 million) projects.
  • Five (5) years direct hands-on experience as a scheduler using Primavera scheduling software to maintain multi-discipline scheduling for large construction or engineering projects.
  • Oracle Primavera P6 certification, PMI-SP, PMI PMP, AACE PSP, AACE EVP, EVMP, PRINCE2
  • Experience implementing project control software and tools - Preferred, hands-on experience with data analysis and visualization tools like Power BI

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,800 to $146,000 per year.
