About the role:
The Westinghouse Parts Business is hiring for the Career Catalyst Program, a program designed to expose potential leaders to multiple departments with growing responsibility. As a Catalyst Engineer you will rotate through multiple departments at Westinghouse, such as working within the following disciplines
- Data analysis
- Information Technologies including AI projects
- Strategic Project Management including M&A identification and integration and development of a spare parts strategy for future nuclear plants
The intent of the Career Catalyst Program is to support our growing business, develop leaders, display aspects of being a corporate steward and identify future career interests.
You will report to the Commercial Operations Manager and work a hybrid schedule based in Cranberry, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Through a series of rotations, lead projects to deliver value across multiple departments and global locations. This is achieved through planning, communication, and teamwork. Meanwhile, gain hands-on experience and develop an understanding of different areas.
- For each rotation/department, develop an understanding of the strategic direction of the department and the business environment and evaluate how business strategies align with the direction of the business.
- Identify areas of improvement and use data analysis skills to propose solutions to enhance the efficiency of each rotational department.
- Develop a foundation of leadership.
- Help deliver projects from concept to completion, ensuring agreement on organizational goals.
- Develop or support detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations; monitor progress and adjust plans to meet goals.
- Support the identification, evaluation, and implementation of AI technologies to improve business processes, supply chain management, and operational efficiency.
- Working with our teams, provide guidance for SAP development within the team, including order entry, procurement, inventory, and material master management.
Qualifications:
- Completion of bachelor's degree with a background in Engineering, Business, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
- Flexibility to relocate based on the job rotations
- Familiarity with PowerBI, Databricks, SAP (or other enterprise software platform)
- Familiarity with AI project implementation
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
