About the role:
As a Manager for Computer Aided Design (CAD) you will manage a team of Engineers and Designers in the selection and development of CAD engineering and design tools used within the Global Operations Services organization. You will work w/ team members to troubleshoot software issues and develop solutions and support the population and maintenance of plant data associated with engineering applications.
You will report to the Director of Design Automation and Configuration for Plant Engineering. This position is hybrid at the discretion of the manager based in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh area. No relocation provided. We can entertain candidates able to work without sponsorship now and in the future.
Responsibilities:

Manage a team of CAE Engineers and Designers in the execution of their tasks

Plan, schedule and assign tasks according to project schedule and budget

Regular review meetings w/ employees to ensure performance meets expectations

Guide Westinghouse process of standardizing on CAD toolsets and their integration to the WNEXUS platform

Oversee data management tools used to store and maintain CAD data

Perform associated software administration tasks, communication with software vendor, software contracts and license usage

Work with partners to maintaining and working w/ connections between CAD management tools and enterprise software solutions for data collection and reporting, like internally developed applications or commercially available applications

Improve work processes and lead improvements with standard procedures to ensure best performance
Qualifications:
-
Minimum associate's degree in computer Aided Design, Engineering, or related technical

10+ years' GES related engineering field

10+ years' 3D modeling using PDS, E3D, Inventor, or Solid Works
-
5+ years’ Autodesk suite of software like AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical and Vault

Software Contracting methods
