The Manager - Information & Document Management Solutions is responsible for leading a diverse team of technologists to develop, implement and support various enterprise applications and technologies that support Westinghouse’s various business and regulatory needs.  The team is responsible for standardizing design and implementation of solutions to simplify, enhance, and support our enterprise business processes. This role directly manages a team of System Administrators, Developers, Business Analysts, and consultants while working closely with the other IT Leaders to collaboratively define, deliver, and support records and product lifecycle solutions for enterprise applications.  There is a heavy focus upon compliance (both IT and regulatory) for Westinghouse’s long-term records retention platforms.  This is a US ONLY Remote or Mobile role.

 

Your Day to Day:

  • Manage the team to develop, implement, evaluate, procure, and/or support systems and solutions that add the most value to the company through utilization of technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, design, planning, and scheduling
  • Adhere to and adapt with new trade compliance and regulatory requirements pertaining to records retention, electronic or digital signatures, and overall system management
  • Guide the team's development model and define associated technologies – implementing capabilities and methodologies at Westinghouse to support modern and agile development practices
  • Guide the Information & Document Management teams to ensure strong software lifecycle management, regularly conduct new software deployments, analyze new business requirements, and proactively track and correct bugs found in custom software
  • Align team and organization in accordance with development and regulatory needs – promoting continuous learning, growth, and development to ensure continued capabilities on modern technology solutions
  • Maintain compliance and governance in support of all company controls, compliance, and security expectations
  • Ensure that project management, change management and compliance processes are understood and followed
  • Ensure continuous improvement in areas of responsibility, using objective and concrete indicators to measure success
  • Serve as a business partner to internal and external customers & suppliers – providing services and solutions to support business strategies and objectives
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for various applications and tooling related to the environment

 

Who You Are:

 

  • 10+ years of experience with enterprise application and integration, business process design, implementations, and migrations
  • Bachelor’s degree in MIS or CS preferred, or relevant concentration, with 10+ years of experience; or relevant and equivalent business or IT experience of minimum of 12-14 years.
  • Very strong communication skills and ability to communicate across the organization, up the organization, and to technical teams
  • The proven ability to present information in various forms to clearly communicate the meaning of that information to a broad audience in an actionable and unambiguous way
  • Able to understand and digest complex material from one domain or discipline and present it to people of a different discipline without loss in translation
  • Experience in effectively leading, influencing and building relationships with teams spanning multiple functions and organization branches
  • Experience with application life cycle development and project management.
  • Extensive experience delivering solutions using various OOTB and custom applications
