Manager - OPX SIOP Community of Practice
Cranberry Township, US
Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions? At Westinghouse, we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we seek to identify, attract and recruit the most qualified talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the global workplace.
About the role:
As the SIOP Community of Practice Leader, you will be responsible for establishing, governing, and maturing Westinghouse's enterprise Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) capability across both resource-based and manufacturing-based planning processes. You will establish the enterprise framework, standards, governance, metrics, and capability development for SIOP, while business units retain ownership of execution and operational planning. You will act as a central enterprise integrator and will ensure alignment of demand with capacity, capabilities, and critical constraints to support proactive risk management and informed executive decision-making.
You will report to the Sr. Director, OPX SPMO. This is a remote role that can be performed from anywhere within the United States. Minor travel (5-10%) may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own and govern the enterprise SIOP operating model, standards, and policies across resource-based and manufacturing-based planning
- Establish and maintain enterprise SIOP governance, including processes, calendars, decision forums, and escalation paths
- Lead the Enterprise SIOP Community of Practice to drive consistency, capability development, and adoption while enabling business-unit execution
- Build and lead the enterprise SIOP capability (direct and/or matrixed resources), setting work priorities, assigning ownership, and developing team skills to deliver consistent execution
- Define and manage enterprise SIOP maturity progression, assessments, and continuous improvement roadmap
- Govern enterprise alignment of demand with capacity, capabilities, and critical constraints (workforce and manufacturing)
- Establish requirements and standards for capacity modeling by role, discipline, skill level, and manufacturing capability
- Ensure consistent identification, visibility, and escalation of capacity constraints, skill gaps, and resourcing risks
- Enable scenario-based planning, trade-off analysis, and risk-informed decision support without owning operational plans
- Govern enterprise SIOP metrics and KPIs related to capacity health, capability maturity, and risk exposure
- Integrate SIOP insights across Engineering, Operations, HR, Supply Chain, and Finance to support enterprise-level decision-making
- Provide leadership with clear, comparable enterprise views of constraints, scenarios, risks, and decision options
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline. MBA preferred
- 7+ years of experience in enterprise planning, operations strategy, or integrated business planning
- Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional planning processes
- Strong understanding of workforce and operational capacity planning
- Ability to operate effectively in matrixed, global environments
- Experience in engineering-intensive, project-based, or professional services environments
- Background in enterprise transformation, internal consulting, or advisory roles
- Experience governing or integrating resource-based and manufacturing-based SIOP processes
- Familiarity with SIOP / IBP platforms or advanced planning analytics
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $130,400.00 to $163,000.00 per year.
