About the role:

As a Network Architect, you will lead the Network Architecture in the Network Services group.  The primary function of this role is to set the direction, structure and strategy for the Westinghouse network, globally. You will be both strategic and tactical in nature.  You will provide guidance for future solutions and overall network strategy, design new projects, modernize refreshed equipment, and ensure documentation on the existing network.

You will report to the Manager, Network Services and be located in Cranberry Township, PA. The role is hybrid with 3 days in office and 2 remote.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop network architecture using several different technologies.

  • Establish and maintain the ongoing network strategy and standards for Westinghouse, balancing a variety of dimensions, such as cost, business need, technological capabilities and industry best practices.

  • Analyze our requirements to develop and create technical network solutions.

  • Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including analysis of capacity needs for network infrastructures.

  • Ensure a secure and stable network environment by overseeing the regular monitoring and maintenance of networks.

  • Provide high-level technical support for our platforms and solutions.

  • Document network issues and provide business case or solutions to management.

     

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience

  • Bachelor's degree in network engineering or related field or have equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated experience implementing new network technologies and establishing network or infrastructure strategies.

  • Experience in a complex, global engineering or manufacturing organization CCNP or CCIE Professional certification or Arista equivalent.
