About the role:

As a Civil Engineer / Structural Engineer you will support civil / structural design activities like calculation creation in structural steel or concrete design. 

You will report to the Manager of Structural Steel for Embedment & Architectural Design. You will work hybrid based in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation provided. We can consider candidates eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Support civil / structural design activities like calculation creation in structural steel or concrete design

• Address technical issues related to the fabrication, assembly, and construction phases like technical justification of design changes and troubleshooting emergent technical issues

• On-Site support at utilities and smaller projects from time to time

• Gain familiarity with analytical tools like ANSYS, LS-DYNA, and GTSTRUDL

• Aid in maintenance of software compliance records and closure of engineering corrective actions

• Become familiar with applicable industry civil/structural codes and (such as ACI, AISC, AWS) standards and company procedures

• Develop engineering sketches and markups using AutoCAD or similar CAD programs

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience

• Bachelor's degree in civil or structural Engineering or equivalent

• 3.0+ GPA
