About the role:

As an entry level Electrical Engineer, you will develop expertise in the design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants. You will develop technical expertise in US and international nuclear markets as part of the Westinghouse Plant and Design Engineering Division within Global Operations Services.

You will report to the Manager of Electrical, Control, and I&C Integration. You will work hybrid at the discretion of the manager based at either Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA or Rock Hill, SC @40-minutes from Charlotte, NC.

No relocation provided. We can consider candidates able to work without sponsorship now and in the future.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, construction, operation, and decommissioning of nuclear power plants

  • Design and operation of pressurized water reactor (PWR) nuclear

  • Gain technical expertise nuclear markets

  • Resolve critical issues affecting construction and operation of nuclear power plants

  • Maintain business relationship with Westinghouse customers

  • Develop and deliver technical presentations to communicate project status, problem resolution and engineering recommendations

Qualifications:

  • 0+ years of experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent

  • GPA 3.0+

  • Knowledge of technical design and analysis

  • Desire to obtain P.E.

  • Open to limited travel
