New Grad! Project Engineer (Hybrid)

About the role:

As an entry level Project Engineer for Westinghouse AP1000, you will apply nuclear safety culture traits and human performance tools at Westinghouse supporting internal department projects. You will report to the Manager of Engineering for AP1000 projects.

You will work hybrid working 2 days/weekly at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters Facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation provided.

Responsibilities:

• Nuclear safety Culture Traits and Human Performance tools

• Support internal projects like improvement for new nuclear plant builds, database creation and optimization for procurement and AP1000 construction

• Work with partners, module suppliers/fabricators and regulators to support plans

• Support bids and proposals like tech specs for power plants and developing technical positions to support groups, managers and resources

• Assess technical requests to determine response plans

• Compile reports and implement response plans and work with engineering for support calculations, analysis and reviews to steer work for schedule, budget and quality

Qualifications:

• 0+ years of experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Nuclear Electrical or Civil Engineering
