Are you interested in being part of an innovative team that supports Westinghouse’s mission to provide clean energy solutions? At Westinghouse, we recognize that our employees are our most valuable asset and we seek to identify, attract and recruit the most qualified talent while recognizing and encouraging the value of diversity in the global workplace.

If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, the Nuclear Operations group at Westinghouse has an exciting opportunity for a Nuclear Engineer - Reactor Operator to support its continued growth.

The Nuclear Operations (NucOps) team is the industry leader for reactor core physics testing of the operating nuclear fleet with solutions including Dynamic Rod Worth Measurements and Subcritical Physics Testing, both of which offer confirmation that the as-built core agrees with the designed core. Additionally, NucOps provides a variety of other reactor engineering services like nuclear instrumentation diagnostics and troubleshooting, fuel transfer and cask loading optimization, and much more. NucOps develops and delivers new technologies include the Vanadium Fixed Incore Instrumentation System. Beyond design and field service-based support, NucOps also supports plant operations including developing emergency operating procedures that reactor operators use across the operating fleet.

NucOps has supported the commissioning of PWRs since the beginning of the commercial nuclear power industry. The group scope has expanded from the sole Westinghouse fleet, to include the Combustion Engineering PWR fleet, the BWR fleet, the Westinghouse AP1000® fleet, and the eVinci designs. Our market spans the globe, including customers in Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Americas, covering both the operating and new build fleets.
