About the role:
As a New Plant Licensing intern, you will directly support the exciting growth in the Westinghouse Advanced Plant development globally.
You will report to the New Plants Licensing Manager for Safety Analysis, Risk Applications, and Licensing and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid full-time hybrid summer position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Help develop licensing related procedures
- Review plant inputs and support working with engineering and customer
- Perform evaluations of licensing inputs
- Develop skills in planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, or nuclear engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Complete Sophomore year of college
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- No relocation assistance provided
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $18.70 to $27.50 per hour.
