Principal Engineer - Neutronics

We are currently looking for a Principal Engineer - Neutronics to join our Neutronics Code and Methodology Development group on our Digital & Innovation team.  This is a US Only REMOTE role.

Your Day to Day:

• Develop code and methodology updates to be implemented in Westinghouse neutronics/nodal code suite.
• Understand code interfaces to enable parallel/cross-functional development activities
• Write/Review software calculations to document requirements for code updates
• Edit codes and update them with the new methodology or more efficient software techniques

Who You Are:

• BS Nuclear Engineering or equivalent experience
• Desired:  Minor Software Engineering or Computer Science
• 5+ Years experience, 10+ typical
• FORTRAN (must-have), C++, and Python (desired)
•  ANC, NJOY, POLCA, MCNP, SERPENT, Monte Carlo methods, Nuclear Data Processing experience preferred
