About the role:
As a Principal Engineer for Risk Analysis, you will Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems evaluating a plant’s potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types like seismic, fire, and flooding.
You will report to the Senior Manager of Risk Analysis. This position is hybrid at the manager's discretion based in Dallas, TX or Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. No relocation provided. US-based remote opportunities may be available at the manager's discretion. We can consider candidates able to work in the US without sponsorship now and in the future.
Responsibilities:

Perform Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for complex nuclear power plant systems, evaluate a plant’s potential vulnerability

Support domestic and international operating plants, and new reactors in design phase

Lead global teams by contributing to technical scope execution serving as author, mentor and verifier, supporting meeting schedule and financial goals

Present technical topics and interface with global customers and regulatory bodies

Identify projects, develop product offerings, and pursue target product market

Develop Innovation products from conception through marketing and delivery

Mentor engineers and lead plans for knowledge management and retention
Qualifications:
-
10+ years of experience
-
Minimum 7 years' PRA Model development applied to nuclear plants
-
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Nuclear or equivalent

Knowledge of PWR reactor operations

In addition to basic Risk and Hazard skills, you have a knowledge of:

Internal/External Hazards PRAs
-
Level 2 PRAs
-
Human Reliability Analysis (HRA)
-
Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs)
