About the role:

As a Principal Project Engineer you will support development of AP1000 projects from initiation to completion. You will support overseeing project design and execution while ensuring, cost efficiency, and adherence to project timelines. The Principal Project Engineer will collaborate with teams, provide technical guidance, and ensure continuous improvement within the engineering function.

You will report to the Poland Project Engineering Manager • Project Engineering, Poland AP1000 and be located at the Cranberry Township, PA location. Hybrid Work Schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Help develop engineering projects, ensuring agreement on our goals and industry standards.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams, promoting innovation and best practices.

  • Develop and oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources, ensuring delivery within scope.

  • Collaborate with team members, including clients, vendors, and our teams, to ensure project requirements are met.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, safety, and quality standards relevant to engineering projects.

  • Find and address project risks, implementing proactive solutions to address challenges.

  • Conduct technical reviews, feasibility studies, and performance evaluations to improve project execution.

  • Guide process improvements and the use of latest technologies to enhance project effectiveness.

 

Qualifications:

• Ability to travel internationally to support the Poland Project development

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, or related field).

  • 5+ years of experience in project engineering/management or equivalent roles of increased responsibilities, with experience leading complex projects

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, engineering principles, and industry regulations

  • Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Primavera, or Power BI)

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or PMP certification is desired but not required
