If this sounds like an environment you would thrive in, we have an exciting opportunity for a Product Engineer (Senior). This position is for an engineer in Instrumentation and Control Systems with specific focus on Safety Systems.


Your Day-to-Day:

  • As part of a team, support business development and growth for Instrumentation and Control Systems in the Safety Systems and Setpoints portfolio.
  • Analyze customer requests/requirements to develop unique solutions that address customer needs and provide competative offers.
  • Collaborate with internal groups such as Account Teams, Engineering organizations and Commercial Integration to develop successful solutions and offerings for customers.
  • Work with a techncial lead on offer development activities such as cost estimate, risk analysis, technical description, project schedule, compliance matrix, project cash flow
  • Coordinate the offer development activities working with engineering to gather labor and M&S estimates
  • Be responsible for compiling the cost workbooks using inputs such as labor and M&S estimates
  • Compile and format the technical descriptions using inputs from technical team
  • Coordinate development of risk register and entry into ARM
  • Coordinate development of compliance matrix
  • Develop high level project schedules and cash flows
  • Work with Commercial Integration team to support the finalization and issuance of offer
  • Participate in technical meetings with the customers
  • Support input to resource plan
  • Support input to financial plan
  • Support development of customer presentations
  • Maintain group SharePoint site
  • Support Standardization of offer templates


Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or related field.
  • Either (a) 3 years of experience in an industry technical role or (b) 2-3 years of experience in an industry technical role.
  • Familiarization with the following tools.
    • Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Project, Power Point
    • SharePoint administration
  • Strong communication and collaborative skills to foster alignments between internal and external customers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and precision is critical.
  • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time.
