Our Product Manager opportunity has direct accountability for the Digital Technology products in the Digital Engineering Services business unit.  Related to these products, this role is accountable for the P&L, orders entered, and the overall strategy and evolution of these products.  Will provide leadership to their direct reports, as well as leadership to the supporting organizations to enable successful delivery of their products to customers.  They will work with Account Teams to interface with customers to improve product strategies and drive OE globally.  This role is fundamental to the overall DES growth strategy across the global market.


Your Day to Day:


  • Accountable for Digital Technology products within the Digital Engineering Services business unit
  • Accountable for the P&L for Digital Technology products
  • Accountable for accurately forecasting monthly financial performance for Digital Technology products using SOPAR
  • Responsible for understanding the customer needs across all regions customers and how they tie into the strategic themes, looking for commonalities and new strategic opportunities.
  • Accountable for review and approval of customer plans for the regions, working with other Product Managers and Finance to ensure the plans align with the overarching strategy and financial goals.
  • Works closely with Digital and Innovation (D&I) group to ensure Digital Technology products are aligned with D&I R&D roadmap
  • Works with the customer to identify specific solutions that meet the customer’s needs (as escalated from an in-region Sales Manager and for executive level customers).
  • Accountable for developing the in-region strategies, aligned to the business plan.
  • Primary support of NUOG/INUOG/CMBG
  • Responsible for analyzing and trending results of the sales strategy in each region.  Works with account teams to development to create, modify or improve the services offering to ensure successful delivery of the projected sales and overall business growth.
  • Responsible for driving the sales focus across the regions and determining the prioritization of customers.
  • Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, delivery schedules, etc. in region.
  • Responsible for maintaining awareness of all deliverables to the customer in each region, based upon work products created by the Operations team.
  • Periodically checks in with their customers on key work packages delivered from the Operations team to ensure the output meets the requirements of the customer.
  • Undertakes reviews of key work packages delivered from the Operations team to ensure that output meets the requirements of the customer.
  • Undertakes spot checks for quality for key work packages delivered by the Operations team.
  • Sets financial targets for each region, working with Sales Managers, Business Development, Operations and Senior Director
  • Adjusts selling price as necessary by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors in-region.


Who You Are:


  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent required
    • Master’s Degree in Engineering or MBA desired.
  • 10-15+ years of nuclear and digital experience in increasingly higher levels of complexity.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, influence and solve high level problems.
  • Proven ability to analyze information for complex decision making.
  • Proven leadership in developing & implementing action plans, executing strategic analysis, translating data into recommendations, & moving to action to achieve bottom-line results.  Knowledge of customers’ critical performance drivers.
  • Experience with data insight tools, integrated PPM tools/suites and Agile management tools. (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Primavera, smartsheet, POMS, CMIS, ER, CORA SDC, IT requirements for Clouds (Oracle and Azure) etc.) 
  • Ability to present solutions that align with Westinghouse strategy. Brings visibility to key opportunities.
  • Ability to persuasively present to top management and customers.
  • Demonstrate advanced skills in finance, cross-cultural awareness, leadership, communication, influence, negotiation, and conflict resolution. 
  • Represent strategic initiatives to Westinghouse executive management affect change or course correction as needed. 
  • Build and maintain effective individual customer relationships as appropriate.
  • Ability to effectively and persuasively present information to influence customers, industry organizations and executive-level leadership.
  • Possesses a broad view of future of Westinghouse, including how the Nuclear Industry will be impacted by the strategic plans of one or more business partner areas.   Broad working knowledge of global power industry, competitive intelligence analysis and strategic business planning. 
  • Knowledge of financing, risk analysis, planning techniques, business management principles and practices.
  • Strong financial and business acumen.
  • Experience with international nuclear environment and digital sales is desired.
