Program Manager, Parts & Components Projects

Your Day-to-Day:

Program management and customer interface for all projects across the Parts & Components Segment

Provide management an independent insight of ongoing projects across locations and ensure success.  This includes meeting contractual and financial commitments and proactively identifying any risks, especially in financial and operational space, so that appropriate actions are taken before the risks materializes.

Provide project direction to the various project managers at various locations (NPO, Shoreview, Newington, Mangiarotti, etc.) executing projects on behalf of the Asia BU 

Accountable for providing oversight of all Asia BU P&C projects (in some cases directly leading) and ensuring success of project activities, including working with management to trouble shoot any issues effecting customer satisfaction, delivering on commitments, financial predictability, and/or quality issues.

Develop and monitor tools, reports, and forecasts that allow for proactive management of ongoing projects

Maintain the cross section of project metrics that ensure visibility of overall project portfolio health.  Take proactive action and work with NPO and Manufacturing locations management to positively influence the project success and maintain positive, predictable performance and metrics.

Bachelors Degree - Electrical, Engineering - General, Engineering - Mechanical

 

Minimum Requirements

 

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

B.S. in Engineering; PMP preferred

10+ years of applicable experience

Strong understanding of project management skills and tools

Knowledge of all Westinghouse products and services;

knowledge of nuclear utility industry and regulatory environment.

Knowledge of global marketing principles and industry practices, strategic planning processes, negotiation approaches, commercial terms and conditions and contract administration.

Understanding of financial and business planning and processes.

Ability to interpret industry, customer and competitor data and establish strategic marketing approaches.

Ability to drive organizational change and lead adoption of best practices.

Ability to explain, advocate and align organization to strategies and priorities; drive change and implement operational improvements and best practices.
