About the role:

As a Project Engineering intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the nuclear power industry and contribute to the development of cutting-edge technology.

You will report to the AP Project Engineering Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid, full-time, hybrid summer position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions for the AP300 and AP1000 projects
• Support the project engineering team in compiling technical design information and preparing reports
• Work with multiple engineering groups to ensure delivery of engineering commitments
• Participate in project meetings and contribute to discussions on technical challenges and solutions
• Help prepare engineering deliverables across various technical disciplines
• Help prepare presentations and documentation for construction partners and customers

Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical, nuclear, chemical, industrial, electrical, or civil engineering
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Completed Sophomore year of college
• Interest in project engineering
• Construction experience

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
