The Quality Analyst will perform a variety of information technology activities as well as support Quality Program activities within the Corporate Quality Organization. Information Technology activities associated with Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety software systems will include developing workflows, creating reports and dashboards, troubleshooting software issues, and analyzing data for trending. Support Quality Program activities such as internal auditing, records management, and corrective action program processes.
Your Day to Day:
- Respond to software tickets associated with QEHS software by troubleshooting issues and proposing corrections to resolve the issue.
- Work with process owners to define software requirements with guidance from supervisor, propose how requirements could be implemented into workflows, and then develop or modify workflows in the Qualitech software or other EHS software with guidance as needed
- Develop specialized reports for users for the Qualitech software system.
- Create PowerBi dashboards that allow users to pull various data sets (i.e. by dates, organization, status, etc.) for reports and trending,
- Write SQL commands to support workflows and reports.
- Prepare test plans and perform software testing within the development, quality, and production environments prior to rolling out software changes to the organization.
- Participate in Internal Quality Audits as a team member with the potential of becoming a lead auditor in the future
- Prepare change management plans that define the purpose of software changes, benefits/impact to organization and describes how the changes work. Provide demonstrations to impacted stakeholders on how the systems will work.
- Perform visual basic programming and/or other programming languages as needed to support request/resolve issues.
- Perform tasks as requested that support Corporate-owned quality processes such as document/records management, self-assessments, corrective action program, etc.
- Assist in analyzing data for trending and help to develop effective action plans to close identified gaps.
- Interface with all levels of personnel within the organization to respond to questions or present upcoming software changes.
- Support strategic projects that deal with process optimization as requested.
- Identify and own issues that require corrective actions with assistance from group
Who You Are:
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required. Preference for a Bachelor's Degree in Information technology, Engineering or equivalent technical discipline
- No experience required, up to 3 years of experience working with IT software preferred
- Working knowledge of writing SQL, PowerBi, and visual basic programing. Other programing experience a plus (such as Power Automate and Python).
