This position is hybrid in nature requiring 2 days/week on-site at the Westinghouse Global Headquarters facility in Cranberry Woods, PA in the Greater Pittsburgh Area.

Your Day-to-Day:
Engineer will be responsible for performing design basis safety analysis for nuclear reactors, in particular for Loss of Coolant Accidents (LOCA).
Additional Responsibilities:
- Development and assessment of models and correlations for prediction of two-phase flow and heat transfer phenomena
- Use of statistical techniques for performing realistic nuclear reactor safety analysis and/or development of analysis methodologies for design basis accidents
- Cognizance of plant specific licensing basis, Analysis of Record, 50.46 reporting
- Point of contact for plant-specific LOCA specific inquiries from both internal and external customers Evaluate impacts of plant modifications and operating changes on design analysis

Who You Are:
As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

Bachelors in on of the following Engineering Disciplines Required: Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering

Minimum 3.0 GPA required
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $58,400 to $73,000 per year.
