About the role:
As a Senior AP1000 Engineer you will support AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities.
You will report to a AP1000 Project Engineering Manager and will work across several technical areas. You will work a hybrid schedule located in Cranberry Twp., PA.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution on AP1000 Front End Engineering contracts and new plant project development activities
- Oversee the managing the schedule and budgeting
- Be the lead contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator
- Responsible for discipline representation in the Project Review Meetings
- Support Project Engineering Managers and Design Technical Leads
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Nuclear or Mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 design
- Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas:
- Nuclear systems design
- Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design
- NSSS components design and analyses
- Piping layout and analysis
- Licensing
- Plant layout integration
- Digital Design (Including document and data management
- Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering
- Electrical design
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $ 85,200 to $106,500 per year.
