Senior Business Process Consultant

Your Day-to-Day:

Bridge the gap between IT and the business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements, and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to stakeholders.
 

Duties and Responsibilities (in the order of priority):

• Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.
• Gather data and analyze business and user needs in consultation with both business managers and end users.
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
• Review business requests to determine need; provide cross-business awareness of existing solutions.
• Improve systems by studying current practices, identify and design modifications for improvement.
• Provide IT support for regulatory and compliance activities and make recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support business goals.
• Conduct and coordinate financial, product, market, operational and related research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the business.
• Conduct insightful, ad hoc analyses to investigate ongoing or one-time operational issues

Who You Are:

As a successful candidate, you will bring the following to the team:

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, related technical discipline or equivalent.
• Minimum of 7 years of technical work experience including a minimum of 4 years of relevant IT experience. (Minimum 5 years of experience outside IT)
• Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) processes awareness, Agile-framework training
• Knowledge base acquired from experience in relevant area.
• Fully proficient in applying established standards in focus and adjacent technical areas.
• Ability to define highly complex and specialized projects, perform analysis, and make sound decisions.
• Capable of managing varied assignments and work independently as well as instruct and coach other professionals.
