Senior Delivery Stream Project Management Engineer

About the role:

As a Senior Delivery Stream WBS 8 Engineer, you will support valve procurement and delivery activities for domestic AP1000 projects and a domestic restart initiative. You will contribute throughout the procurement lifecycle, including planning, purchase order placement, execution, delivery, and final turnover of valve equipment to customers.

You will work with the WBS 8 Lead and cross-functional stakeholders. You will help develop delivery plans and ensure valve assemblies and components are procured and delivered according to project schedules, technical requirements, and customer commitments. You will contribute to supplier coordination, performance monitoring, and capacity assessments while supporting project execution activities such as schedule management, risk identification, cost tracking, and progress reporting.

You will collaborate with Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and external suppliers to support successful project delivery. This hybrid position reports to the Senior Manager, APX WBS 3 & 8, Mechanical Modules and Valves and is based at our Global Headquarters in Cranberry Township, PA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Help execute program management strategies that align with global delivery models and support the success of the AP1000 Energy Systems portfolio.
• Monitor program performance, identify potential risks, and help develop mitigation strategies to achieve safety, quality, schedule, and financial goals.
• Partner with project procurement leaders to support successful customer project execution.
• Contribute to delivery and implementation plans that support project success and business growth.
• Coordinate with teams across Westinghouse, supplier, and customer locations to support project goals.
• Support procurement strategy development for components and equipment.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain partners to develop sourcing and execution plans that ensure delivery and project success.
• Help mentor and onboard new team members supporting customer projects.
• Be the contact for project status and delivery activities related to valves and associated equipment.
• Support project staffing forecasts and resource planning activities.
• Participate in proposal and bid development activities.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Quality teams on documentation requirements, witness points, and hold-point activities.
• Support supplier selection, technical evaluations, quality assessments, and RFQ package development.

Qualifications:

• 4 years minimum experience, typically 8+ years.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering.
• Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Show higher initiative and accountability.
• Inquisitive attitude with driver approach or behavior style.
• Team Building.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $95,850 to $106,500 per year.
