About the role:

The AP Technology Deployment department is looking for a senior engineer to support AP1000 Front End Engineering projects and project development activities.

The project engineers will report to a AP1000 Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas. Their specific responsibilities will be as follow

Key Responsibilities:

• Support Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution on AP1000 Front End Engineering contracts and new plant project development activities
• You will oversee the managing the schedule and budgeting
• You will be the lead contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator
• Responsible for discipline representation in the Project Review Meetings
• Support the Project Engineering Manager and Design Technical Lead

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, previous experience on AP1000 design
• Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas:
  • Nuclear systems design
  • Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design
  • NSSS components design and analyses
  • Piping layout and analysis
  • Licensing
  • Plant layout integration
  • Digital Design (configuration control)
  • Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering
  • Electrical design
