About the role:

As a Senior Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis, North America Projects, you will lead financial control and forecasting. You will also lead financial closing, budgeting, cost accounting, analyses, and financial reporting for US AP1000 new build projects. You will provide guidance to other US AP1000 project finance leaders regarding project set-up and execution. You will report to the Controller, APX Projects North America and EMEA, and work at our Cranberry Township, PA headquarters location. Hybrid Work Schedule.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the senior finance lead for a U.S. AP1000 new plant build project, overseeing financial governance, performance analysis, forecasting, reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and financial control activities.

  • Be the strategic finance partner to the Project Director and Finance leadership, providing executive-level insight, decision support, risk identification, and recommended actions to guide project performance.

  • Lead agreement on Project Management, Project Controls, General Accounting, Financial Controls, and Operations Finance to ensure accurate forecasts, compliant reporting, and financial governance across the project.

  • Develop and deliver periodic internal and external financial reporting, ensuring you meet partner requirements, support project funding needs, and financial risks and trends.

  • Establish, lead, and improve the project invoicing process to ensure compliance with Westinghouse internal controls, procedures, and contractual requirements. Set standard practices for other new build projects.

  • Lead the annual business planning process for the project, including development of assumptions, financial targets, executive-level review materials, and agreement on corporate expectations.

  • Direct the monthly close, forecast, and reporting processes, including review of financial results, analysis of variances and trends, escalation of material issues, and leadership of corrective action planning.

  • Guide finance best practices across the Westinghouse finance teams, ensuring reporting consistency, process discipline, coordination across functional partners.

  • Provide senior-level approval support for accounting entries related to income statement and balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and appropriate financial controls.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience

  • 8+ years of progressive finance, accounting, FP&A, or project finance experience;

  • Knowledge of accounting theory, generally accepted accounting principles, long-term project accounting, internal control procedures, financial concepts (including financial planning techniques)

  • Experience in SAP, BPC, Business Warehouse

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $126,000 to $157,500 per year.
