About the role:
As a Senior Manager - Market Strategy and Forecasting, you will harness organizational change and increase growth through working with our leadership in transforming the organization to achieve its goals. You will lead growth plans and manage change with and throughout the APX Product Development & Partnerships organization. This role will be a high-level orchestrator of a complex organization that involves large growth projects spanning strategic planning and commercial offers and negotiation. You will manage a team of more junior strategy analysts / managers to complete the strategy of goals for APX PDP.
You will report to the Senior Director - Commercial Operations and work remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of annual strategy for ES given current market/business conditions to support the Westinghouse business planning process, coordinating across teams and supporting Global Operations Services responsibilities.
- Monitor progress in deploying Energy Systems' strategic plans and identify major strategic changes over the previous year using metrics and roadmaps
- Coordinate long-term planning within ES and across Westinghouse to inform resource, supply chain and project delivery forecasts.
- Facilitate large-scale transformation programs:
- Develop large-scale strategic programs for APX PDP to support go-to-market strategies
- Lead interface with the APX Delivery strategy team to facilitate information transfer with the Commercial Operations
- Work with Corporate Strategy in the deployment of strategic commercial activities such as the activities with the Department of Energy Loan Program Office and other Development Company activities
- Develop project deliverables and executive presentation documents
- Manage the development of Board of Directors' communications and project manage commitments made to owners
- Create greater strategic focus across the business to develop plans to close gaps between business aspirations and current capabilities.
- Develop Market Analyses and Forecasting / Track Market Data for APX PDP
- Develop the global analysis for deploying APX technologies including supporting the interdependencies between APX Delivery and other global activities. This information will feed into specific customer capture strategies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, or related field. Masters Preferred in engineering, business, economics
- 15+ years of cumulative business experience with applicable, technical and operations experience.
- We prefer knowledge of AP1000 technology.
- In-depth knowledge of the interdependencies across the organization to support consolidated strategic approaches to the market
- Experience working in global, multicultural environments
- Experience in the nuclear industry
- You are a strategy practitioner well versed in the theory and tools of strategy formulation and the practical implementation of strategy within a complex organization.
- Experience dealing with strategic issues including energy geopolitics, industry structure, operations strategy, and partner engagement
- Translate strategic decisions into applicable plans for execution
- Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
- Travel 10-20% based on business demand
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $126,000 to $157,500 per year.
