Senior Project Engineer - Nuclear Plants (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Senior Project Engineer you will be a hybrid employee based in a Westinghouse US-based Engineering facility as part of the organization delivering the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland. You will report to the Power Block and Site-Specific Project Engineering Manager and be assigned to one or several technical areas.

Responsibilities:

• Support Project Engineering Manager and Project Lead Engineers

• Support Functional Area Lead(s) to ensure progress and scope execution

• Lead contact for Functional Area Leads and Project Coordinator

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

• Comfortable w/ international travel to support the Poland Project

• Cognizance in at least one of the following technical areas:

  • Nuclear systems design

  • Turbine Island/Balance of Plant systems or structural design

  • AP1000, AP300

  • NSSS components design and analyses

  • Piping layout

  • Plant layout integration

  • Civil, Structural and Architectural engineering

  • Electrical design
