About the role:

As an IT PMO Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that IT Projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while aligning with business objectives, governance standards, and IT strategies. The IT Project Manager will manage teams, coordinate resources, and provide visibility into project performance through reporting and partner engagement.

 

You will report to the Sr Manager, IT PMO Operational Excellence Lead and be located at Cranberry Township, PA. This is a hybrid role with 3 days remote.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage IT projects from initiation to closure, ensuring understanding of our priorities. Develop detailed project plans, defining scope, timelines, and resource needs. Use Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid methodologies to guide project success.

  • Guide communication between IT, business teams, and leadership, ensuring clear project goals. Manage partner expectations and ensure project agreement on our goals.

  • Monitor project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution. Coordinate with IT PMO, finance, and resource managers for proper staffing and financial tracking.

  • Identify potential project risks, ensuring minimal impact on timelines. Also, ensure compliance with IT governance policies, security standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate/Collaborate with business relationship managers, project lead, and business lead on project prioritization and resource management.

  • Guide IT PMO and IT portfolio performance through development, tracking, and reporting of performance metrics.

  • Coordinate with IT Managers on IT resource demand and capacity tracking and analysis to promote work prioritization, resource allocation, and overall decision-making.

  • Collaborate with IT leaders to resolve issues/discrepancies related to project priority and resource allocation.

 

Qualifications:

  • BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

  • 5+ years Portfolio/Project Management experience.

  • PMP certification

  • Methodologies: Proficiency in Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management approaches.

  • Tools & Technology: Experience with project management tools (MS Project Online, ServiceNow)

  • Financial & Risk Management: understanding of budget tracking, forecasting, and risk mitigation.

 

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $116,000 to $142,000 per year.
