Senior Specialist Contract Management

As a Sr. Specialist, Contract Management, you will work with project managers to support both customer and vendor contracts consistent with applicable Company Contract Management policies, standards and procedures, building relationships with critical external partners/customers and internal project teams. You will have a focus on U.S. projects and establishing best practices within a growing organization of Contracts professionals.
You will report to the Sr. Program Risk Manager and be located at our Cranberry Township, PA location. This is a mobile position that is expected on site 2-3 days per week.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage a set of active contracts and related activities observing the contract management process and policies.

Be the customer/vendor contracts subject matter expert for projects; support project managers by leading interface between project and customer/vendor contract managers.

Provide support for developing a detailed summary and training after signing of contracts to summarize all relevant commercial terms and conditions and project impacts.

Monitor performance of obligations contained within the contract observing the terms and conditions or Master Service Agreement (MSA) provisions.

Prepare customer notifications, draft contract documents, change requests, and formal change orders. Update contract files.

Maintain comprehensive and detailed records of important events, decisions, and notifications.

Provide commercial expertise to support new business development and offer negotiation.

Support coordination with Supply Chain to identify important terms and conditions, obligations, and critical dates for supplier contract management.

Guide contract close-out activities at the conclusion of the contract term/project completion, including validation and acceptance of all commercial obligations defined within the contract.

Provide support in the management of any remaining contractual obligations such as warranties or other services, and formal contract closeout.

Support Global Contracting and Sales with project contract execution expectations for future project opportunities.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering or related degree or equivalent work experience. Contract Management Certification desired.

Minimum of 3 years of related and recent work experience in contract management/project management positions.

Experience directly managing engineering/industrial contracts.

A variety of experience including both public and private sectors.

Experience with varying contract types: fixed-price, cost, cost-reimbursable, time and material and incentive type contracts is required.

Ability to participate in commercial contract negotiations with customers, suppliers and teaming partners.
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills, is estimated to be $85,200.00 to $106,500.00 per year.
