Senior/Principal Project Engineer - AP1000 (Hybrid)

About the role:

As a Project Engineer you will be part of the Poland AP1000 Project Engineering in the Engineering and Licensing functional disciplines. You will plan and complete scopes of work to support delivery of the first AP1000 Reactors in Poland.  

You will report to the Senior Project Manager. You will work hybrid at the manager's discretion requiring 2-3 days on-site at a Westinghouse US Engineering Location.

• Columbia, SC

• Cranberry Woods, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area)

• Etna, PA (Greater Pittsburgh Area)

Responsibilities:

• Planning like authoring project plans and developing scope, schedule, and cost baselines

• Profitability of contracts based on project plans

• Manage scope, schedule, cost, risk, procurement, quality, resources, communications, and partners through use of delegates/support as applicable

• Oversee project cost expenditure forecasts and progress like Earned Value Management to support project performance and financial reporting 

• Process metrics and process maps for status understanding

• Final project quality assessment and reports and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Construction Management)

• 4+ years related Project Management leading medium to high complexity projects

• 2+ years nuclear

• Software like P6, SAP, ARM or similar and techniques including Earned Value Management
