Simulator Hardware Engineer

Your Day-to-Day:

1. Maintenance of commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) hardware, such as replacing hard drives, graphics cards, etc
2. Troubleshoot hardware issues to determine root cause of the problem and define appropriate fix
3. Adapt plant upgrade architectures to an appropriate simulator architecture, determining when to procure identical plant parts and when to procure COTS items
4. Work with internal organizations to place demand for deliverable material, coordinate material inspections and manage material shipment
5. Plan for internal system equipment needs and request appropriate funding
6. Work with our Supply Chain organization to obtain quotes and procure equipment

What we would like to see from you:

1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering , or other technical degrees with a strong background in hardware support and procurement
2. 2-5 years hardware support experience 
3. Experience with Procurement/Purchasing processes
