Simulator Supervisor - US

As a Simulator Supervisor you will manage the engineering team for the Simulator Solutions Engineering for New Build Simulator and selected Major Upgrade projects.
You will report to the Simulator Solutions Engineering Manager. This is a hybrid role based out of the Cranberry Township, PA location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible as a resource and supervisor for 10+ personnel.
• Responsible for the operations of the engineering team and ensure standards of quality (including management of the corrective action program), cost (including use of resources to meet assigned targets), safety(both ensuring a NSC and personnel and Industrial safety), reliability, and performance are met in engineering processes.
• Primary technical interface between Westinghouse Simulator major projects and the management. Prepare and identify needed training and development plans for assigned SSE team with emphasis on long-term resource needs. Focus on identifying & targeting engineering skills to guarantee an added value to the customer.
• Manage Simulator product and platform management skills in organization to ensure succession planning. Scan the environment to verify products, services and design processes are adding value to both the customer and Westinghouse.
• Develop solutions to create customer value in collaboration with appropriate Westinghouse organizations.
• Identify unmet customer needs through appropriate market channels especially direct customer interaction.
• Oversee and implement simulation projects – identifying “breakthrough” process improvements, technologies and cost improvement goals.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of leadership with simulation experience
• Experience in Simulation software development, testing and software development lifecycle process.
• Experience in training simulators: Full/Partial Scope. Model Development & Maintenance. Architecture/ Appliable Standard
• Experience in simulation tools
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $100,800 to $126,000 per year.
