NSSS I&C TA

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the installation, commissioning, and testing for NSSS I&C systems, upgrades and field modifications.
  • Support and interface with Westinghouse home office teams to perform debugging and issue resolution.
  • Support and interface with Westinghouse home office cyber security team to perform debugging and issue resolution.
  • Provide status updates of current site conditions and perform walk-downs as needed. 
  • Support Customer and Regulator Audits as needed.
  • Candidate should be able to effectively use and modify Ovation platform including Ovation Security, SAFETY AC160 Platforms, and NSSS legacy systems (NIMS, FIDAS, DRCS, etc)
  • Candidate must be able to advise the customer on cabinet energization, Base Line Software loading, Cold and Hot Testing
  • Outage support & analyzing test results and other issues as they arise.

Candidate will be involved in advising Customer on any Design changes by interfacing communication and providing advice to customer while design and validation is done by the US back-office team

  • FAR management (Travelers, MWI, TMOD) : creation, validation, implementation on MMIS I&C systems
  • Baseline/Bundle implementation : software/HW changes for new baseline delivery (temporary support at site)
  • Trouble-shooting Instruction (TI)

 

Who are you

A Successful candidate will bring:

 

Minimum Requirements (education, years of experience, certifications, etc.)

  • Candidate must have a BS in Electrical Engineering or comparable degree, and a minimum of 5 years of direct experience in testing and troubleshooting of NSSS I&C equipment.
  • In depth Emerson, Ovation knowledge will be a plus (OS, networking, troubleshooting)
  • The candidate should have the ability to learn Technical implementation in KNHP SKN 3&4 MMIS (i.e. : datalinks, WEC applications, WEC implementation standard, ….) Note 3-4 months learning period. 
  • Provide status updates of current site conditions and perform walk-downs as needed. 
  • Support Customer and Regulator Audits as needed.
  • Candidate must be proficient in the use of Technical Manuals and be able to communicate well with both the customer and the home office engineering groups.
  • Candidate should be able to administrate Safety system admin functions for Maintenance and Test System. (MTS)
  • Outage support & analyzing test results and other issues as they arise.
