Sr. Project Manager (I&C)

Our Nuclear energy company is seeking an ambitious and detail-oriented experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Engineered Systems and Solutions division! As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing medium to high complexity projects related to Nuclear Steam Supply System (NSSS) and/or Instrumentation and Control (I&C) upgrades. You will be expected to work closely with various departments and stakeholders to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.  All project management is performed in accordance with the established Westinghouse policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.

This opportunity is a Remote working assignment with periodic required travel to come into the home office (Cranberry, PA).  

Your Day to Day:

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to determine project objectives, scope, and requirements.
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against these plans.
• Manage project risks and issues, and develop and implement strategies to mitigate them.
• Coordinate and manage project team members, including engineers, technicians, and contractors.
• Communicate project status and progress to all stakeholders, including senior management and clients.
• Ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of our clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and other stakeholders.
• Monitor and control project expenses and resources to ensure that projects are completed within budget.
• Implement and adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or related field.

• 4+ years of relevant experience in project management (preferably in a nuclear or engineering industry).
• Strong interpersonal skills such as effective verbal and written communications.
• Ability to lead team members and develop relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Microsoft Project, P6, SAP, ARM.
• Knowledge of nuclear regulations, procedures, and safety guidelines is a plus.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
